Transloading & Industrial Development

Sierra Northern has several transloading locations serving the Sacramento and Modesto regions in Northern California. Our rail experts can also help you identify and secure rail accessible properties and warehouses along our rail network.

Rail Maintenance and Repair

Tracks need preventive maintenance! Deferred maintenance will cause derailments, resulting in extensive repairs and disruption of rail service. Sierra Northern will inspect and evaluate the structure of your railroad track to determine the level of maintenance and/or repairs needed, and will prepare a comprehensive proposal to meet the needs of your trackage and industry.

Sierra Northern provides rail shipping to all of California through interchanges BNSF and UP.
